The first indoor meeting of the new season will take place at Swanwick Lakes Study Centre on Thursday 25th October. Refreshments will be available from 7 pm and the presentations will start at about 7.30. William Trodd will tell us about his bat research project in the New Forest. Dave Byett will update us about 'Frazzle', the grey long-eared bat that he cared for and subsequently released and radio-tracked. Then Nik Knight will recount recent developments at the Privett Tunnel bat hibernation site. The main presentation will be given by Chris Doubell: "(Almost) Everything that you wanted to know about bats" This will lead to discussion about how we engage with young people.
