At our meeting on Thursday 13th February, the speaker will be Colin Morris, the BCT's Bat Groups Officer. His title is: "My Mistress - 35 years of horseshoe bat conservation". Having worked with horseshoe bats since the 1980s, Colin has built up a wealth of knowledge on the two UK species; particularly when it comes to improving roosting habitat. Come along and hear about the trials and tribulations, the success and the failures at some of the sites he has been involved with.  Further meetings this year will include Tuesday 24th March (Adrian Bicker speaking about his Nathusius' pipistrelle migration research and the use of AudioMoth static detectors) and Tuesday 21st April (AGM and talk by Ani Binet on 'Batting in the Channel').  After our summer break, indoor meetings will resume on Thursday 22nd October, with another meeting on Thursday 26th November and our Christmas social on Thursday 10th December.
