Be sure to keep your diary free on Tuesday 29th April, for the 2014 Hampshire Bat Group's Annual General Meeting. The meeting will be followed by a detector workshop

The AGM is an essential feature of our year as a charity. All the existing committee members are prepared to stand for re-election. However, we would welcome volunteers for at least one additional place on the committee, particularly to help with the secretarial side of our activities. Please remember that our membership subscriptions need to be renewed at this time of year, although many of you are on the 3-year subscription for which you may have at least one more year left.

After a tea break we will move on to a Bat Detector Workshop, kindly led by Jon Byrd. There will be something here for members at all levels of experience, with a variety of bat detectors available for use. We are hoping that we will be able to follow this with practical bat detecting outside in the nature reserve, adding to our knowledge of the bats living in the Swanwick Lakes area.

As usual, the meeting will take place in the Study Centre at the Swanwick Lakes Nature Reserve - directions if needed are on the events page. Please arrive around 7pm for a 7.30 start.
